Alcohol Prevention State Resources Wisconsin Association on Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse (WAAODA) Advocates on behalf of prevention and recovery issues. The Federal Trade Commission, the nation's consumer protection agency, prepared and maintains this site Center for Disease Control To strengthen the scientific foundation for prevention of excessive alcohol consumption. The Alcohol Team uses CDC public health surveillance systems, including the Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System and the Youth Risk Behavior Survey, to monitor trends in binge and underage drinking, and to assess related health impacts. Check Yourself This youth friendly site allows visitors to "look in the mirror" by answering quiz questions about their lifestyle, reading first-person stories, communicating with other teens, and playing decision games to see how they might act in situations involving drugs and alcohol.
