Connect with a Movement

SmokeFree Wisconsin

Even with the smoke-free workplaces bill being signed into law, there is still work to do to reduce the burden of tobacco in Wisconsin. SmokeFree Wisconsin and The Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids have teamed up to build a grassroots network across Wisconsin! Tobacco Free Action Network (TFAN) is your one stop shop for online activism. As an E-Champion, you will receive updates on key issues and have opportunities to make your voice heard!

Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids

The Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids is a leader in the fight to reduce tobacco use and its devastating consequences in the United States and around the world. By changing public attitudes and public policies on tobacco, we strive to prevent kids from smoking, help smokers quit and protect everyone from secondhand smoke.

Rescue Social Change Group

In 2001, Jeffrey Jordan was a youth activist for a local anti-tobacco movement called XPOZ when he founded RSCG in an effort to apply marketing strategies to youth social change. RSCG continues to grow, addressing new social change issues including underage drinking, violence, physical activity, obesity, and after school programming. Research and evaluation remain RSCG's primary focus as the team works to document the powerful impact that Social Brands have on social change.

American Legacy Foundation

The American Legacy Foundation's work to reduce tobacco use among young people includes a major national tobacco youth prevention and education effort known as the truth® campaign. Advertising, grassroots and promotional events, and an interactive Web site give teens the facts about the health effects, social costs and addictiveness of tobacco so they can make informed decisions about tobacco use.

The Partnership for a Drug-Free America

The Partnership for a Drug-Free America is a nonprofit coalition of communication, health, medical and educational professionals working to reduce illicit drug use and help people live healthy, drug-free lives. The Partnership's research-based, educational campaigns are disseminated through all forms of media, including TV, radio and print advertisements and over the Internet. In its 18-year history, the Partnership has utilized the pro-bono work of the country's best advertising, PR and interactive agencies, and the donated time and space of major media, to create the largest public service campaign in the nation's history.
