community collaboration

One of re:TH!NK’s primary goals is to establish and strengthen collaboration practices among communities, private nonprofit agencies, federal, state, and local governments to support the efforts of community coalitions to prevent and reduce substance use among youth and substance abuse in adults.

School Action Awards
Made available to middle and high school students in both public and private schools in 2010. Awarded schools will benefit from this partnership with re:TH!NK because they will enjoy trainings and guidance to be able to conduct environmental strategies addressing root causes of substance use in youth. Stay tuned for the September 29th 2010 Recognition Ceremony where we will honor the student grantees and recognize their projects, made possible by re:TH!NK.

Community Sponsorship
Stipends may be provided to agencies who request funds to conduct drug, alcohol or tobacco prevention activities impacting Winnebago County residents and beyond. Requests will be reviewed by our Leadership Committee to ensure their planned activities are aligned with re:TH!NK’s goals and objectives and meet our specific criteria. re:TH!NK strives to collaborate with local agencies so that they can realize success in their prevention roles.
