Committees
Committees are divided in a way that allows partners to participate in an area of interest and skill set. Committees are standing and continuous. They develop long-term action plans (which may result in the creation of workgroups), give direction and guidance to the entire coalition on their specific focus area, and engage other coalition partners in activities. Each committee has a chair that schedules meetings and reports recent committee activity at general coalition meetings. The core committees function by supporting the work of the substance-driven committees and the entire coalition.
