re:TH!NK, Winnebago's Healthy Living Partnership, is the community engagement "arm" of the  Winnebago County Health Department. re:TH!NK coordinates efforts with help from our local partners to create a place where everyone has the opportunity to live the healthiest life possible.

NatlFarmtoSchoollogore:TH!NK Receives USDA Grant to Increase Local Foods in School Cafeterias

re:TH!NK and the Winnebago County Health Department are pleased to announce that they are one of 71 projects spanning 42 states and the District of Columbia receiving support this year through the U.S. Department of Agriculture's (USDA) Farm to School Program, an effort to better connect school cafeterias and students with local farmers. Buying and eating locally-grown food is a great way to support local farmers and eat healthy food. Omro, Oshkosh and Winneconne schools will be serving up several version of Ratatouille this school year. Growing Oshkosh is helping elementary and middle schools install, plant and harvest veggies in school gardens.
