Write a Letter to the Editor
The best way to gain support for you issue is by telling others your opinion. That way, others who fell the same way you do can join together and do something about it.
Contact your Policymakers
Whether its your local village board, city council, state legislators, or US congressperson, these are the people that have the power to make change happen. Find out who represents you at the state and federal level on the Wisconsin State Legislature website or find out who represents you locally in Winnebago County.

Connect with a Movement
WACA envisions a Wisconsin where all communities, especially those experiencing inequities, are outstanding places to walk, bike and be active. WACA will be a catalyst in a successful statewide Active Communities movement that helps create change in communities across Wisconsin.
The Wisconsin Prevention Network is a statewide membership association of individuals and organizations working together to assure human and financial resources for prevention and wellness. WPN is a voluntary, incorporated, non-profit organization consisting of professionals and interested persons from a variety of health and human service disciplines throughout the state. WPN members currently represent over 30 prevention areas.
The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) is the nations largest nonprofit, grassroots mental health education, advocacy and support organization dedicated to improving the lives of children and adults living with mental illness and their families.
