The 2011 WI YRBS trend summary is now available! Trend results spanning 1993-2011 show Wisconsin is shows a decrease in alcohol and tobacco use but use rates are still too high. Marijuana use increased slightly and high schoolers are not getting enough fruits and vegetables. The full Trend Report highlights other successes and areas for improvement.
In spring of 2010, all five Winnebago County school districts participated in the Youth Risk Behavior Survey (YRBS), a national survey coordinated by the WI Department of Instructions (DPI) and the Cooperative Educational Service Agency (CESA 6). Below is a snapshot of data collected by the YRBS at the county, state and national level. The county-wide YRBS was again administered in winter of 2012 giving us trend data from the past four years.
